Win A Date With Mr. Lothar!
October 10, 2005

I saw this poster staring at me today as I headed to the restroom before class. I had to rip it off a Coke machine and scan it. I can't believe that the Writing Center is auctioning off David! They even placed Lothar on the flyer. However, this picture is not the defining Lothar pose. The Lothar pose is a picture I took with my camera phone back in March. I wonder if the WC is auctioning off a female tutor, too. I think it would only be fair.

Wednesday is AASU day for the 2005-2006 school year. Last year, I spent a majority of the day working in the WC. That was fun *Rolling My Eyes* My problem wasn't so much having to stay inside when the party was outside. No, the bad point of the day was the smell of fish sticks wafting around all of Gamble Hall. Last year, the WC's fund raiser was a fish stick eating contest. The winner ate 60 sticks in 10 minutes. *I'm Sick*

This year, I will be spending my time working the ACM booth for a point towards my scholarship. Adam, the president of ACM, said they had no one really working the booth. I figured I'd help when I wasn't too busy in Database class, nor scoring my annual free booty. *Smile* Working that booth tomorrow will give me half my required point total.

This week, I'm not having Networking class. However, I have an assignment to do this week. Not only do I have to answer the assignment in essay form, I have to develop of PowerPoint presentation on it to give to class. *Sigh* At least I'm not only in having to give a presentation. I will have to make it a good presentation. I also have to spent time this week with my Networking group to plan for our Networking project.

In city news, our old time Oldies station, 98.3, switched formats on the 7th. It's now a Jack FM station. *Laughing* I'm accepting of it at the moment. I heard some gems today from the '90s I'm used to only listening to on my computer. At worst, when it's playing a song I don't like, I have my soft rock (98.7 The River) and Top 40 (Z102.1 and KISS 97.3 FM) stations to listen to. *Smile*

We've had a JackFM station here for a couple of years now. It's not too bad- it's really one of those stations you switch on when your usual station is at a commercial or something.

Ahahahaha! Why is date auctioning so inherently funny to me?
