O'Connor to resign from Supreme Court.
Growing up, she was a role model. She was the first female Supreme Court justice. She, along with people like Sally Ride, showed little girls that girls are just a capable as boys. Sadly, there are many people out there that still don't understand that belief.
I can only hope that her replacement is female. We still need these important role models.

I liked that she was moderate...she's going to be sorely missed. You can bet W is looking for someone far too conservative to replace her.
She was a role model for me, as well.
