This dream was different. I was left with a peaceful feeling when I woke up. I could go into the details, but I'm not since the dream was a little too personal.
And don't worry, it was a clean dream. ![]()
Well, according to UPS, my laptop is in Savannah and is on the truck. (Which, by the way, is Jarrett ever going to drive it? This question concerns a UPS ad series that my dad likes to joke about everytime one of the ads comes on.) I should have it in my hands by the time I get home this evening. And guess what I'll be doing tonight? Configuring that puppy to my needs and wants. Oh yeah, make sure I get on the Internet, too.
That means now I don't have to use one of the 2 computers here in the IT lounge. I can just connect my computer to the router here in the room and use my computer. The current router configuration here in the lounge is a 5-port router with only 3 ports in use. 2 are connected to the laptops in this room and the other one is for those students, like Mike and soon to be me, that have laptops. Once I get a carrying case for my laptop, I'll be sure to carry an extra Ethernet cable. That way I can use my laptop in here while anyone else is using their laptop.
Well, I think I'll go read some Fark before I go to work.
