"Let's Go To The Movies / Let's Go See The Stars!"

This entry is all about the movies! *Smile*

My mother returned from her trip last night. *Smile* So today, we went to see Monster-In-Law. It was a cute little movie. Jane Fonda was great at spewing the venom at Jennifer Lopez. *Laughing* Maybe I enjoyed it more knowing as I grew up, I could see that both of my parents had trouble with their mothers-in-law. I joked with my mother that Beth's boyfriend's mother should go see it! *Crazy* I've some more of what that "woman" said about my little sister and I just want to find her and give her a good reaming. But enough about that witch. This post is about the movies.

On the way to the movie, after my mother and I had lunch, we were listening to 97.3 Kiss FM on the radio. They were having a contest for the 7th caller to win tickets to an exclusive screening of Madagascar. My mother pointed at the radio to get me to try. And try I did. I called 3 or 4 times for the fun of it. At that 3rd or 4th time, the phone rang. *Laughing* I ended up being the correct caller and now have 4 tickets to see Madagascar next Saturday. My brother should be happy. He's the reason why my mother wanted me to try for the tickets.

And the best part about this? I'm not eligible to win a 97.3 Kiss FM contest for 30 days! *Thumb Up* If you must know, a certain Carter boy that's 9 years younger than me will be coming to Savannah on the 5th. I didn't want to win anything related to him. Not that it really matters. Not like I care about him. Besides, Nicki has plans for Beth related to that event. I don't have to go!

As we were leaving the theater after watching our movie, I heard some guy ask if the theater was showing a midnight screening of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. *Banging My Head Against The Wall* DUH!!!!! He then proceeded to try to purchase a ticket as if they still had tickets to sell! *EEK!* Hey smart man, it's SOLD OUT!!! Did you not watch the ticker above the ticket counter? Did you not think? It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that it's the final Star Wars flick. Star Wars is huge!

Speaking of Star Wars, the cable was out last night when I got home from my "motherly" duty of taking Beth to voice lessons. It was out for 4+ hours. After an hour of it being out, I decided to go out to my father's garage and retrieve his VHS copy of The Phantom Menace. All I've heard about Jar-Jar Binks was correct! Oh my, five minutes after he was introduced, I wanted to smack him! And why did I find him annoying? His voice! His whole race of people sounded slurred! I couldn't understand him or them at all! He would have been much more entertaining had they not had that whole race of whatever talk like they did! To quote a friend *Smiling Yet Cold* "Very crappy he is!" But, at least I'm caught up with the Star Wars films and just need to watch Attack of the Clones.

Well, that's enough for now. *Smile*
