Baseball Season Started As Usual…
April 6, 2005

For my Atlanta Braves. They lost! Not only did they lose, they were shut out. Marcus Giles injuried himself in the first inning and left in the middle of the game. John Smoltz didn't get out of the second inning. Johnny Estrada left the game, too. It was a wash. I even slept during the 7th inning.Hopefully, this just means the Braves still have kinks and are working them out this month and win the division again. The thrill in baseball is not the destination but the trip itself.

Last night, as I was going to bed, I stopped on Fox News to find out the time. I ended up with a little treat. *Yum!* The patron sex symbol of this domain, Barry Zito (of the Oakland A's) , was on Hannity & Colmes discussing his charity, Strikeouts for Troops. *I've Fallen In Love And Can't Get Up* Besides the man being hot with his brown hair I'd like to run my fingers through and those soft baby brown eyes, being a military brat, it's always nice to see someone supporting the troops and this just makes me like the dude even more.

In other news, I was able to register for Summer and Fall semesters yesterday. The Unix course I'm taking in the summer should be fun. *Smile* We'll be playing with PHP, Linux, and MySQL. *Oh Yeah!* Just last night, I was able to modify a PHP script that one can use to close entries to comments on MT. I changed it to disable pings on entries older than 100 days. The best part was it worked! *Thumb Up* I'm getting tired of the Trackback spam and by goodness, I'm going to try to curb it as best I can.

Hey, don't forget to add your birthday to the sidepanel! It's another PHP script I didn't write but I have fun modifying it to suit my tastes. *Smile*

Finally, random question of the day, inspired by Zito's eyes: brown eyes or blue eyes? Or is there another color you find attractive? *Oh Yeah!*

Blue...absolutely blue. In fact, I told Don I would only married a blue eyed man, because I want to ensure any offspring I may have will have blue eyes (no offense to brown-eyed people, but we recessive people have to stick together). Light green is a ok second.

I've always liked lighter colored eyes myself because I spent my entire life looking at people who had brown eyes. Then a miracle happened, and McKenzie was born with blue eyes, and they've changed to green. Her doctor tells us that if they were going to turn brown, they would've already. I've always loved green eyes, and now it looks like I'll be able to see them forever.

Blue eyes scare me. I blame this on my psychotic second grade teacher.
