I'm feeling like at the moment my life is boring. What I can talk about is boring and the things I'd like to blog about are actually the things I need to keep to myself.

I didn't have school yesterday. I did work 3 hours worth. During our weekly tutor training, we got into a debate about contractions. Even though I'm not an English major, it was fun to debate contractions. At times, I wonder if I should take Advanced Grammar just for the fun of it.

While I was working, I ran into Anthony, a co-worker that's not working this semester. We were in Pre-Calculus together 2 years ago and all us women in that class would tease him about being the teacher's pet. He also knows Nicki from a bar they both hang out at and has been/is in a couple of classes with Mike. He was working on his Geography assignment in the Center. It looked like fun but, then again, I'm a geography freak. He was telling me that some of his classmates couldn't find Washington, D.C. on a map. I'm not surprised. I told him that my kids will not be stupid in geography. Before he left the Center, he and Ari started kidding me. I wanted to hide under the desk.

That basically was the most exciting event to happen to me yesterday. That and getting paid. I got a check for $136.00 and some change. I decided to deposit it into my savings account. I now have enough money in that account for an apartment deposit at some complexes. Go me!

I'm off to go clean my room with my mother today before I head out to Compass Point tonight for 2^nd Mile's concert out there.
