Anyone Want To Adopt A Family?
December 17, 2004

It comes complete with a mother, a father, two sisters, and an annoying-as-hell brother! Any takers?

I'm just a little upset at my family because after 26 years, they STILL don't get it that I don't like some of the games they play to be played around other people. Can they not understand the pleading in my voice that it gives when it cracks when I want them to stop taunting me in front of other people? *Crying* I don't like to be embarrassed and what they did tonight was embarrassing. Yeah, I'll get over it. I just feel like a complete IDIOT for what occurred tonight. *Blushing*

Well, other than the complete disaster of a phone call tonight, my day was ok. My mother, brother, and I saw Christmas with the Kranks. It was a very funny movie. *Laughing* I think it was brave of Jamie Lee Curtis to expose herself in that movie. I don't know if that was a fat suit she wore. It looked too real. That's what I liked. I liked that she had a real figure and not a skinny stick thin figure.

After the movie, we went to the drive-by nativity scene presented by White Bluff United Methodist Church. We all had a small chuckle when we came across a scene of angels and one was on crutches. I know the girl needed them because she hurt her leg but they sure didn't look like the came from 1st century B.C.E. Bethlehem.

I got through my first week of Christmas vacation. I still have about 2½ weeks of vacation left. Just as long as I don't have an embarrassing moment like tonight again.

Oh yeah, last night, I went to Beth's Christmas concert. And like last year, it made me appreciate the music education I received in Catholic school and Department of Defense schools. Sure, I couldn't play the flute but I have an appreciation of having to play it and playing in a school band. It's a shame I never appreciated it all when I was busy with it. I miss those days. *Sigh*

I think I'm going to "salvage" my disposition by taking a shower.
