It's tough being a Atlanta Braves fan and seeing some of my favorites on the team get traded. The Atlanta Braves and the Oakland A's just made a blockbuster trade. The Braves get Tim Hudson from the A's and the A's get Charles Thomas, Juan Cruz, and prospect Dan Meyer. I can handle the lost of a prospect and Cruz but Chucky? John Schuerholz traded Chucky? Chucky was the reason that the Braves ended up winning the division last season. Chucky and Nick Green were the rookies that saved the seasons! I can't believe they traded Chucky! Many Braves fans may be happy getting one of the Big Three but losing Chucky is going to hurt. Chucky came across as one that loved the game for the game and not the money, like some player come across as. As least we didn't lose Marcus Giles. I think there would have been a riot if Giles was part of the deal. But Chucky?

The Braves also traded Eli Marero to the Kansas City Royals for pitcher Jorge Vasquez. Ok, whatever. I can't even start to analyze that trade. Marero wasn't a bad player. In fact, he was one of Nicki's favorites on the team.

I can only hope these trades workout like the Millwood trade did. I wasn't happy about the Millwood trade when it happend but that worked out for the best for the Braves.

Chucky?
