I love
*NSYNC. Well, I can give or take a few of their songs, but for the most part, I love their music. After New Kids On The Block, I thought I would never be in boybands again. Even as Nicki was getting into Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, I refused.
However, that all changed after August 4, 1999 when I saw a full *NSYNC concert. Something about seeing them live and hearing JC Chasez sing turned me into a fan. I took all of Nicki's *NSYNC albums and then started getting my own.
Why do I like them? I don't know. There's something soothing to me about *NSYNC. I don't have the solo efforts by either Justin Timberlake or JC Chasez. Neither of their solo sounds appeal to me. However, I love them as *NSYNC.
And no, I'm not brainless and love all of *NSYNC's music. Give me some credit here! They have recorded some dud songs.
The stuff I like the most is acutally stuff that wasn't mass marketed to the USA. Songs like "Could It Be You", off the international "Bye Bye Bye" single we didn't get in the States and "If I'm Not The One", a song you could only get in the States if you bought a CD from McDonald's, are songs I enjoy.
I'm going to have to make myself a CD of my favorite *NSYNC tracks for my car.
Why am I even typing this entry? Because I listened to some *NSYNC this morning.
That's why!

Posted by: Lynn at November 10, 2004 10:37 AMfunny you should mention The Group That Will Never Be Again Because Timberlake's Head Got Too Big.
on my walk today, i was going up one of the hills and this lady who i SWEAR looked EXACTLY LIKE TAMM walked down .... i swear... Tamm you've got a twin running around these parts! anyway, she was wearing an NSYNC shirt.
at first i thought it WAS Tamm and was about to say "Hi what on earth are you doing here?" then thought, "That lady doesn't know me and if she's like Tamm, then she's not gonna like me either!"
and so i went on my merry way. the Dish people took away the love (the port-a-potties). i had to pee real bad and i got used to having a port-a-potty there, if only for two days.
Posted by: misbah kyrene at November 10, 2004 5:25 PMI don't have "Could It Be You" but I have "If I'm Not The One" because it was on the NSA CD Travis bought in Croatia. That kind of thing always annoyed me.. Why do other countries get more music then we do!? Why should we have to buy foreign releases just to get extra songs!? Thank goodness for file sharing(*evil grin*) or I wouldn't have all the rare tracks that I do! Hehehe Now I'm gonna have to look for that one. This entry has made me want to break out my CD's now... Been a while!
