That my Theater class was going to be cancelled today, I wouldn't have bothered coming to school.
Just as well. Shari and I had an interesting discussion on stem cells and abortion before we found out theater was cancelled.
Yes, today is a class-free day. Well, I did get some items that needed to be taken care of taken car of.
I'd go home now but I'm working with a classmate during IT time on our IT homework.
I met with my WWW professor this morning for advisement. Wow, she did more than my old advisor did. She looked at my transcript and plotted out how much of my core curriculum courses were completed. She also told me which courses I should take next semester. I plan on only taking 13 hours. That will be enough to get me to junior status by summer. I do plan on taking summer courses.
The courses we chose are Literature and Humanities - English 2100, Intro Programming Principles - CSCI 1301, History of Latin America Since 1850 - HIST 3110, and Programming in Visual Basic - ITEC 1310. I plan on taking the 2100 and 1301 classes with the Honors distinction. My advisor figures that I'll understand VB.net this time if I'm taking it along with JAVA. She's all for me taking the Honors JAVA since we did basic JAVA in her class back in the spring and I did well in her class. She was glad to see my History elective as a level 3000 course. That will satisfy the requirement that 9 of my elective hours be level 3000 and above.
She also told me that she wants me to take extra computer science programs as electives. She feels that they will help me in my career later on in life. The first course she wants me to take in Introduction to UNIX. Maybe come summer, I will.
I haven't had the chance to vote, yet. I was going to do so on our way to school. I drove by my precinct and the parking lot was full. I'll just vote after I leave school.
So, here are some more political quizzes in honor of Election Day:
Both of these were found at Laura's place.

You are a Pacifist Policist! You don't really like
the liberal/conservative debating and wish that
everyone would just be friends. You have your
own beliefs, which is good, but you have a
tendency to let them go unheard for fear they
won't make any difference. Speak up and you can
make things happen!
What political mindset are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
Democrat - You believe that there should be a free
market which is reigned in by a modest state
beaurocracy. You think that capitalism has
some good things, but that those it helps
should be obliged to help out their fellow man
a little. Your historical role model is
Franklin Rosevelt.
Which political sterotype are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
Well, better a Democrat than a Fascist I say!
You know these quizzes are all in good fun. ![]()
