My long term friends know I love baseball, especially Atlanta Braves baseball. Earlier this year, Marcus Giles was out for 2 months with an injury. Well, damn it if Mark DeRosa, my favorite Brave other than Giles and a reason I got hooked on baseball, was playing short tonight. Just a few minutes ago, he did something to his leg. He had to be carted off the field. Looks like he may have torn either his left ACL or MCL. Dang! Not Mark!

Update: Ooops, I said the wrong leg. It was his right leg. However, they believe it's the ACL and looks like Mark is out for the rest of the year. Did it have to happen? What a bummer!
