I was excepting anything in the mail yesterday but I got two great little surprises. The first one was a postcard from Christine. It pictured Hadlock Field, home of the Portland Sea Dogs. It also featured Slugger, the Dogs' m, with Wally, the m of the Boston Red Sox. The Sea Dogs are the Double A affiliate of the Red Sox.
The other surprise in the mail is something that will become handy next week.
Back in April, my three-year-old membership to the Replay program expired due to lack of finances on my part to renew it. Yesterday, they sent me a packet renewing my membership for free for a whole year plus a $5.00 coupon to use.
Not something I was expecting but I'll take it.
In other news, this story is locally: Miss Savannah pleads innocent . I would not be surprised it this case make Court TV.
Not much more to post at the moment.

Glad you liked the card! They were selling them at the ballpark, and I thought it would be a great alternative to the usual lighthouses and lobster boat cards that I usually send.
I had to buy an extra one to keep for myself, for the baseball scrapbook I'm planning to make after this season is over.
Posted by: Christine at August 4, 2004 2:22 PMI usually only get junk or bills in the mail. I hardly ever get anything exciting.
Posted by: Dragon at August 4, 2004 3:07 PMOoh, a scrapbook! Sounds like that's going to be fun.
Trish, sam here, so these items were a welcomed change.
