Atari 2600 Classics was awesome, Nicki brought home the Activision Anthology last night for my father. Better sound, better graphics. It's just 1000% better than the one I have. Matthew and I have already unlocked a few extras. It even has a soundtrack filled with '80s music like "The Tide Is High" by Blondie, "Harden My Heart" by Quarterflash, and "No More Words" by Berlin.
Pikachu is at my feet on her stomach. She's very happy with my new computer arrangement.
And Liz, I am the queen of Archive.org!
Actually, the thought of typing out all that information I posted last year about Richard's rarities made me queasy. ![]()

I never had an Atari, but we had an Intellivision. I noticed they had the classic games of Intellivision for PS2 and I bought it!. It is awesome, just like I remembered. Hope you get your CD soon!
Posted by: Jason at July 19, 2004 4:31 PMI had a friend ship me a copy I should expecting either today (since the mail isn't here yet) or tomorrow.
I'm glad they have revamped the retro games. Sure, the graphics were poor but they still rock.
Posted by: Shawn at July 19, 2004 7:07 PMI miss Atari... It was so much simpler but the "gaming thumb" was so much worse! LMAO
Posted by: Dragon at July 19, 2004 8:49 PMI don't which was worst: the thumb pain or the wrist pain. Thank goodness for PS2 controllers.
Posted by: Shawn at July 19, 2004 9:33 PMYeah but there are so many buttons! L1 L2 R1 R2 left right up down triangle square circle X... So confusing... LOL
Posted by: Dragon at July 19, 2004 10:31 PMAll hail Shawn, Queen of all nifty net-thingies. LOL!!! You rock!
What I need to do is make a master-list of that info that I can post when someone enquires. *sigh* I'm far too lazy for such things.
Atari rocks! We still have ours. I'm an old-skool gamer, I perfer it to a lot of the crap JR plays.
Now and Forever,
Liz
We have one too but I can't remember if Travis ever got it working or not or if he even tried to hook it up to see if it worked. My mother gave it to us a long time ago since she had it laying around cause someone else gave it to her... Know what I REALLY miss? Classic Nintendo! Mario and Tetris were the best!! No other Tetris remake, even Tetris Classic for PS comes close. It will never be the same...
Posted by: Dragon at July 19, 2004 10:53 PMLiz, just cut & paste Majid's archive and my archive plus our new information. If we can't get a sticky post, if you will type up the information and send me a picture of Richard, I will format it and post it on my Comcast site. That way next time someone posts that question, we just have to post the link.
The Activision game controls for the PS2 are very easy. My father wants another Atria, since ours is broken, but we haven't had luck. We still have our 8-bit & 16-bit Nintendos and I prefer them to the new stuff.
