Beth is watching Vh1 and they are airing "I Love 1993." I can remember that year nice and clear. I was 14, learning algebra and geometry, seriously depressed, and busy flirting with a kid named Ryan. I remember Martin, the Bobbitt story, and Free Willy jokes.
Boiy, do I feel old. ![]()
Speaking of old, I'm listening to one of the first CDs my family had - En Vogue's Funky Divas. It's actually Nicki's CD but I had to listen to it before I got my first CD ever, Richard Marx's Rush Street. Whoa, that was in 1992. So far away, yet so close in my mind.
I don't want to grow up!

Hmm. 1993. The year I realized I had competition.
And wasn't it also the year that Jurassic Park (the book) was really popular? Or was that 1992?
Posted by: sya at July 15, 2004 8:16 PMIt's not that early, Shawn. We're almost halfway through another decade but it's just a matter of opinion. I like most of what the '90s brought to our world. We can't stay in '80s nostalgia forever.
though some would like that, wouldn't they? *winking at Tamm*
Posted by: misbah kyrene at July 16, 2004 1:30 AMI've been waiting for the 90s show to come on. First they did the 80's which was cool, then I thought "come on 90s!". Then they did the 70s, the 80's AGAIN, and now finally my fav decade! Have a good weekend.
Posted by: Jason at July 16, 2004 10:11 AMJurassic Park, the movie came out in 1993. 1992 must have been when the book was big but I thought that came out in 1990. I remember the movie was big because Matthew got into it all and saw it twice that summer.
And I loved the '90s, too, when I wasn't depressed, It just seems so soon for me!
We've been watching them too but have missed a few years. We've seen 90' 91' 92' 93' and 95' I believe.
