Go Away Thunder.
July 10, 2004

It's thundering at the moment but more to the east of my house, not over it. It's very confusing. *Confused* We can see some sun out most of the windows.

I took the writing section of the Regents' test about 2½ hours ago. One essay in one hour. Each paper given out had different topics assigned, one which you had to chose. I got this list of topics:

  • #150 - Many families today are growing home vegetable gardens. Discuss some reasons for this.

  • #212 - What do you hope to accomplish within the next ten years? Explain.

  • #279 - Should public agencies be required to inform parents if their minor children (those under 17) seek birth control? Discuss.

  • #419 - The Supreme Court has ruled that public schools have the right to conduct searches of students' persons and property when there is reasonable cause to suspect the presence of weapons or drugs. Do you support or oppose such searches? Explain.
*Banging My Head Against The Wall* Like I know what to write about! I decided to write about #212. I felt I wrote a crappy essay but considering all you need is a 2 to pass, I wrote something that is at least a 2. *Laughing* I should know whether I passed it or not on the 2nd of August. However, the thing that sicks out in my mind is the proctor of the exam. He looked just like Jon Cryer, especially his "Alan Harper" on Two and a Half Men! *Laughing*

The Savannah Sand Gnats are having *Play Ball!* game against the Charleston Riverdogs tonight. It's free jersey night, so Nicki and I are planning to go. That is the weather permits. *Laughing*

Hmm not sure which one I would have picked. I probably would have done one of the last 2 and discussed the pros and cons of the subject. LOL I'm sure you did fine!

I don't doubt that I did. Not on this thing.
