I took the writing section of the Regents' test about 2½ hours ago. One essay in one hour. Each paper given out had different topics assigned, one which you had to chose. I got this list of topics:
- #150 - Many families today are growing home vegetable gardens. Discuss some reasons for this.
- #212 - What do you hope to accomplish within the next ten years? Explain.
- #279 - Should public agencies be required to inform parents if their minor children (those under 17) seek birth control? Discuss.
- #419 - The Supreme Court has ruled that public schools have the right to conduct searches of students' persons and property when there is reasonable cause to suspect the presence of weapons or drugs. Do you support or oppose such searches? Explain.
