Oh Tuesday, You Seem Like A Monday.

Does it? *Sigh*

School was fine today, except wanting to Big Stick Policy the girls in front of me that like to chat during History class. I don't get how my professor can say something in class like the US and Great Britain did not trust Stalin and their reasonings for it and then 2 minutes later, Italina asks why the US and Great Britain did not trust Stalin. *Banging My Head Against The Wall*

In other school news, the first half of my student loan is paid. *Smile* In fact, I only have a balance of $74.26 on my summer account at this moment. Looks like I'll be getting a bigger excess check than I was expecting.

At this moment, I'm reading the AASU General Forum topic about people moaning about the extra fees we have to pay this fall, like the $11.00 health fee we have to pay to maintain the health clinic. *Rolling My Eyes* Yes people, that fee is going to be a back breaker.</end sarcasm> I wonder how many of them researched what the health clinic has to offer before fussing. $11.00 to help maintain that clinic, I think, is a good thing. You never know when you'll need it people. As for the $50.00 parking fee, I think that's too much. They took down a lot of trees to expand parking, which did shade part of the Science Center parking lot, and now it's barren. That side is going to be hot in the warmer months. It also left some of our campus cats homeless (I'm a sucker for cats, you know!). I just wonder if they are going to plant trees to replace some of the ones lost in the parking lot expansion.

Moving from the environment of my campus to politics: Kerry picks Edwards. I consider myself a person in the middle that votes with her gut. Usually, my guts sides Republican. My gut tells me that Kerry is not the man for me. However, I did vote for Edwards in the primary and if became Vice President, that's fine with me. However, I rather he ran for President and Kerry was not in the picture. Something about Kerry scares me.

Well, I better stop posting at this juncture in the day and do a little work on my mother's site. *Smile* She sent me an e-mail hinting at getting some work done.

Blech. I hate parking fees. I had to shell out $80 for that last week. (And that's just for one parking lot on campus, not all of them.)

OUCH! I'm not sure of the extent of where we may park with the decal. I might get out of paying for one if I get a Writing Center job. I'm not sure. We were told it was originally going to be $30.00 for the fee, which isn't that bad.

I know at Georgia Tech, freshmen aren't even allowed to have cars on the campus their first semester. Even though I could not drive in 1997, that prospect scared me.

First year students are allowed to have cars, but the parking people around here are absolute nazis. It used to be that people working at the med school could also park at the medical center, but now I can't even do that unless I have proof that I work over there over 50% of the time. I can't even drop off or pick up any of my samples for my experiments unless I beg the security guards to let me have a visitors parking space for a couple of minutes.
