It was a strange dream. I dreamt that I was in line for a Christmas pageant to view the nativity. Sleeping at the foot of the bed used in the pageant was Pumpkin. I was puzzled at first but I was told he was dead. But it was him and he recognized me. I ran to him and was angry that I was told he was dead. Of course, he was old in the dream and had cancer but I didn't care. I just wanted him and was upset I was lied to and denied time to him.

Good thing it was a dream. I know Pumpkin is dead. I'm the one that found him dead and had my mother confirm it. He lived a wonderful 17 years. I'm just wondering were such a disturbing dream came from.

In real-life news, today is the day my brother graduates from high school. I can't believe that time for him is already here. Time does fly. In other school news, my summer session starts tomorrow. Yes, today is the last day of my "summer vacation." Yesterday, I bought a swimsuit. Wal-Mart had a bad selection and I'm not thrilled with the one I got. Maybe today, when we aren't too busy getting ready for Matthew's event, I can find the solid blue one I bought two years ago that Nicki took when she moved out. I wasn't thrilled she took it in the first place.
