My friend, Misbah, sent me two letters I have yet to receive. I think they are lost in Palo Alto or Jacksonville. Ok, she just said the second one is still at her home, on accident. However, I wonder about the first letter. The reason I bring up Jacksonville is we've had several things come to our house weeks after they should have arrived. They usually come packaged in plastic wrap from the post office explaining they got lost in Jacksonville and that's why they are torn up. I wouldn't be surprise if more of our missing mail is lost in a post office plant in Jacksonville.
Well, I'm really sorry if my life this past week is very boring. School starts next Wednesday, so I should have something more to share onces it starts. I need to get off my butt and go buy my books. Maybe I'll go do it now.
I have $400.00 in bookstore credit to blow! However, my books won't cost that much, I know.
By the way, check out the links database and add a link.
Please? I need something to do.

I recommended some links, but I have to shut off the computer now, as a huge awful storm is coming. Again.
Posted by: Chewie at May 25, 2004 5:57 PMUgh! I sure understand that problem. We have a joke in Savannah that there is always a thunderstorm here at 3 PM each day during summer.
Posted by: Shawn at May 25, 2004 6:02 PMYay, it passed us by. Normally we don't have them this bad, but for the past month we've had at least one per day and some pretty nasty ones to boot. 3/4" inch hail stones, nasty lightening, and huge thunderclaps, in addition to lots of rain. Our forecast just has thunderstorms every night and day through the next seven days (and the past 30 or so days).
Posted by: Chewie at May 25, 2004 6:35 PMRemember I sent your mom those pictures in the mail, and she NEVER got them! I don't know where they got lost. There is no telling!
It is storming here too, but not too bad. nite nite!
And they wonder why almost everyone has gone to using email!! There have been times when something has arrived here in a couple days and other times, from the same place, it's taken weeks. It's just ridiculous and maybe if it was a little cheaper and more reliable to send stuff via the Postal Service more people would be doing it.
Posted by: Dragon at May 26, 2004 1:40 AMSeglenda, they are probably in Jacksonville! They might show up one day.
Trish, the Postal Service is still the best deal around in the world. However, I wish they weren't so sloppy at times. They being those that work in the backs of a post office. Teh carriers have been nothing more than sweet. Out of my old job, I miss our mailman the most!
Chewie, sounds like our forcast for most of the summer!
It's sunny now but it looks like it will rain later.
Here comes our evening thunderstorm. Woo. no more fun surfing through your blog for now :-(
Cheers!
