Yes, you can read so yourself at the Friday Five website.
Well, last night, the concert was fun. Just remind me not to ever go to a small venue again for an act geared to the teenage/young 20-year-old age group. As soon as Maroon 5 opened the show, people started standing up and girls dressed in skimpy outfits rushed to the stage. The same happened a few years ago at the LFO concert I had to attend at the Civic Center. But, like that LFO concert, I didn't have a bad seat. This time, I was on the left side of the fine arts hall, on the an left center aisle seat in the 12th row. I could see the lead singer sitting or standing. To me, I think the opening act, Sara Bareilles the best part. It was her first time in Georgia, since she is a west coast act. Beth wanted her CD but we didn't have any extra cash on hand last night. I didn't tell Beth but I wanted her CD, too.
I will have to download her MP3s off her site when I have a chance.
A second grade is in.
It's Computer Science 1060. I got an A.
And I NEVER thought I would do this, but I am on the same team as the New York Yankees.
Yankees balk at Spider-Man in-game promotion. The reason MLB gave for agreeing to this promotion is it's a way to get kids into the game.
Give me a damn break. No kid in his or hers right mind is going to say "Hey, A Spider-Man logo will be on first base. I think I'll start watching baseball!" Well, looks like the back lash is getting to MLB. Baseball scales back movie promotion.
Must go for now. I must go to my high school to help Beth with something.

Congrats on your A!!
Glad you had a good time at the concert, though the girls in skimpy outfits seem a bit too much (or too little).
Nothing about MLB would get me to watch. I'm so sick and tired of the whining that it digusts me to even think about it.
oh no it's the end of memes as we know it... Monday Mission is gone... Friday Five is gone . HumpDay Hump is gone (though apparently not for my rabbits who seem to have everyone's share of humping)...
whyyyy? LOL. okay i suppose i should get back to this book, huh?
Posted by: misbah kyrene at May 7, 2004 4:38 PMMisbah, yes, get back to the book! AS for the Friday Five, well, it's sad to see it go but that's one less meme I have to do.
Besides, it was getting boring and lame with the questions.
And Chewie, yes, the skimpy girls were the only bad part about the whole show. As MLB, they backed off the promotion after Columbia Pictures begged them. Seems the power of many people bitching and complaining on the Internet got them to change the promotion. Now, if only other certain acts
would get that point.
On the disappearing memes--maybe it was all a phase anyway although it doesn't seem that way to me since I just started another one about two weeks ago.
Posted by: sya at May 7, 2004 9:28 PMI've tried to limit memes lately. I'm like you, once I start, I try to stay devoted to it, even the Friday Five. But yes, there is always another meme to replace a dying meme.
