"Boys And Brains Don't Mix"
April 24, 2004

I saw that on a T-shirt yesterday at school. I thought it was funny. *Laughing* Sure does describe my life at this moment! *Sigh* The only guys I have in my life at the moment are those that play MLB. However, the t-shirt looked to be one to make boys and brains mix. When my brains mix with boys, they'll have to be smart ones. My poor brain couldn't take a dumb guy. *Sigh*

I didn't post are all yesterday. Just wasn't in the mood. School was a breeze yesterday and then when I got home, I took a nap. I woke up in time to watch the news and then the Atlanta Braves/Florida Marlins game. By the way, Bravos won 6-1. *Wink*

Speaking of news, maybe you have or haven't heard about the NFL player that died Thursday in Afghanistan. I don't know how to express what I feel about it because I can't find the words. Don't worry, they would all be words of admiration. However, Tillman's death puts a new slant on the NFL draft that's happening this weekend. Before Tillman's death, I thought Eli Manning was just being a spoiled brat. He should be thankful he has the chance to play in the NFL. Crying that you rather play for one team over the other undercuts the draft process and is childish. I know, at times, I am one to talk. *Wink* However, Tillman's death just makes Manning look like an even bigger crybaby. I hope the San Diego Chargers draft him. He really has no clue, in my eyes, how fortunate he is in life. This is coming from a girl that doesn't even care much for football!

Finally, I guess I could say, is that we here at home are having a Matthew-free weekend. He'll be in Florida this weekend for Grad Night at Disney. I never did mine. First, we didn't have the money at the time, second, I left school, and three, I didn't want to get caught on the bus with retards. We were to be seated with those who payed at the same time as we did. I didn't know if Logan was going and I wanted to sit near him and a few other classmates, like Nicole and Nicki. I know I didn't have many friends in high school but Logan, Nicole, and Nicki were the closest I had. I couldn't say a bad thing about them even to this day.
