Well, not quite. I have a test Tuesday and then a final. However, no more lecturing. As for the rest of school, here's the final exam schedule I have:
- April 30th - English
- May 3rd - Computer Science
- May 4th - Psychology
- May 5th - Civilization I
- May 6th - History 1100
I will be taking classes in the summer. I will be taking History Of America Since 1865, Ethics And Values In History, and Intermediate Swimming. The history class will be taught by my current History 1100 professor. Shouldn't be too bad. Ethics is only half of the summer semester but 3 hours worth of credit. As for swimming, well, I have to take 3 hours of PE and I figured swimming in the summer isn't going to kill me.
One day I'll be out of school.
In fact, I was in the bookstore this morning buying bluebooks for the English exam next Friday
when another student said I looked just like this girl in his history class.
Found out it was me.
Well, he asked if I was a history major. I said no. But I guess I should get a minor since everyone asks me if I major in history. Plus, the fact my mother tells me I should go into history.
Believe it or not, Pikachu just ate in my room without Scooter bothering her. He's sleeping on the bed. They both love me but can't stand each other. So, I'm training them that Scooter gets me at days and Pikachu gets the room at night. I wish they got along.
Finally, on my way home today, I got caught in traffic on Montgomery Crossroads. Police were at the corner of Montgomery and Waters and the west bound lanes of Montgomery were closed. As I inched closer to the road, I saw part of the road cornered off with police tape. How times do you see that for a car accident? Well, it wasn't just a car accident. Seems a robbery occurred in the parking lot of the shopping center on the corner.
I will have to watch the news at 6 to find what else happened.
Plus, I need to get off and do my last Civilization I homework assignment. ![]()

I remembered having to do required PE as an undergrad. But since I didn't want to get up at 6 in the morning to do Tai Chi, I did Ultimate Frisbee and Yoga and in the evenings. Someone else actually managed to petition the administration to accept DDR (dance dance revoloution) as PE credit. Swimming's not too bad, although I figured I could do that pretty much anywhere.
Posted by: sya at April 22, 2004 10:05 PMYAY your almost done for this semester! I bet your glad! That's scary about the robbery. Would make me lock my doors a little tighter at night for a while!
Posted by: Dragon at April 22, 2004 11:52 PMFrisbee? And I thought bowling as a PE was kooky!
What did it entail? By the way, I am planning on taking bowling as soon as I can afford it.
I'll be buying shoes and a ball. Figured it won't hurt to have my own, after all.
Trish, we lock our doors every night at home and I'm usually quick on locking them in the car. I go pass that intersection everyday on my way home from school. Quite a bit scary. I hope they find the kid and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. There are too many morons out there!
Posted by: Shawn at April 23, 2004 7:53 AMUltimate Frisbee is structured like a lot of other games like football or hockey. The goal of the game is to score points by flinging the frisbee into the opposing team's goal. So the goalies and other players have to intercept the frisbee before it gets to the goal. And because a frisbee is more aerodynamic than a ball, it also entails a lot more running.
Actually now that I think about it, bowling sounds a lot less labor intensive.
Posted by: sya at April 23, 2004 9:16 AMI'm very happy not to be in school right now. Thanks for reminding me of that.
SFJ, it only gets worst for me!
And Sya, so, it's basically Air Soccer?
