"There's Gotta Be More To Life / Than Chasing Down Every Temporary High To Satisfy Me"
April 20, 2004

I enjoy that song by Stacie Orrico. *Smile* And honestly, I try to keep it in mind.

Ok, now that I got the Marx Board War LXIV out of the way, I notice I've gotten plenty of hits about the Tamara Dunstan case. If you are looking for information, The Augusta Chronicle.com site is the best for information. I wasn't expecting that many hits. I think this case hits a little close to home because I was in school with her killer. Not something you expect out of life, is it?

But you know what, he did the crime and now he has to pay the time. It's really sad that he threw away his life over GREED and destroyed two others. In this AJC.com article, "Augusta slaying leaves two families asking what went wrong," there was a quote from his uncle saying he was given everything. So why do this? It's very selfish. Now her family is crying over her loss. From the sounds of it, she was a wonderful person. You have to be to work in pediatric oncology. I have heard that is one of the most depressing lines of work and it take a special person to work in it.

I was speaking to her ex-boyfriend on-line earlier today. He seemed to be in shock. He sent me a beautiful letter he wrote her in response to hearing about her death. He said I may post it but I will not. I don't feel it's my place to do so, since I did not know her. However, from what I read with what he shared, she helped make him a better person. It's a shame she won't be able to do so for others now from earth but I don't doubt she'll still be doing it from heaven.

Enough of the case from me. I bet you really want insider information and that's not my place. This place is for me to express thoughts, not out scoop anyone.

In other news, it seems a new Richard Marx single is on the way. I can't wait. I am going to have to e-mail my local radio station to get them to add it. Must hear Richard on the radio. *Laughing*

As for school, it was good today. *Smile* Psych went quickly. I couldn't believe it. I think since we worked with charts, that made it go by smoother than usually.

I must go now and hug Scooter for being so annoying and cute at the same time. Take care, all. *An Angel*

[Listening to: Mix 107.7 (Dayton, OH) in hopes of hearing the new Richard Marx single.]
