Life In Augusta, So Far.
April 17, 2004

Let's see how things are here? Well, the cable went out around dinner time. No internet access and no regular TV. The cable came back on just in time for me to see that the Atlanta Braves game I was wanting to watch was over. *Sigh* At least the Braves won. *Thumb Up* The whole time the cable was out, I worked on my History 1100 homework.

The trip here was pretty much uneventful. It was quiet. I had the digital camera with me and I took a few road sign shots. I'd like to dontate them to a couple of site dedicated to road signs. The most "thrilling event" on the trip occured in Waynesboro. I had the radio on WBBQ and an ad for the Garden City Music Festival came on. One of the performers for the festival they annouced was The Shaun Piazza Band. We looked at each other and start laughing. I happened to be in class with a kid by the same name at St Mary's here in Augusta. In fact, looking at the website, this looks to be the same one I was in 2nd and 3rd grade with. After he entered my class, I was forever known as "Shawn L." *Rolling My Eyes* Boy, I hated that name. It made my name sound like it was "Channel."

That's the Augusta adventure so far. *Laughing* I guess I'll go and add a few my quotes to my quotes database.
