They broke up a few months back.
I'm in my room listening to Sooner Or Later with the A/C on. Three years ago, I saw them twice in Florida within a month's time. I was able to get my sister to get me their autographs in May 2001 at the WAPE booth just prior to the Jacksonville *NSYNC show. It was a beautiful day and night that time. I wasn't able to get close to the group like my sister did. And I do mean she got close to the group. She was able to get with the band behind the table and asked them a question live on WAPE's afternoon show. Just prior to the interview, she was crouching down in the booth. She turned around and had Christian Burns's butt in her face. We still joke about that to this day. They were the opening act for *NSYNC at the time and their short show was great.
A month later, we saw them at Strudelpalooza at MGM in Orlando. We spent the trip to not just to Jacksonville the month before but this trip listening to BBMak's music. Nicki was a member of the press corps for Efanguide.com. She got to go to a press conference and I was able to attend, too. We were also able to see them in concert and get their autographs after the show. The only shame during both shows is I wasn't too familiar with their music. I tried to sing along with the upbeat songs. I have my autograph press photo up in my photo album with my personal Richard Marx shots and signed press photograph. ![]()
However, I miss them because in today's music, they were unique. They were a group of guys but not really a boy band. They didn't use synthesizers. They were just on guitars and the music simple. They were upbeat.
Dang, now I'm wanting to get in the car and go to Florida.
Yes, I'm in the mood to travel. Why doesn't my spring break and my siblings spring break occur at the same time?
