Still A Bit Bitte
March 1, 2004

Really, I am. Found out other people got Bs. I'm not disputing the Bs but my C. I've arranged for a conference at 2 on Wednesday with my English professor. I'm going to get a clear answer as to why I got a C, which I don't believe I deserve. I am not some fresh faced baby from high school. I've had some life experience and what I know can and will effect my perspective on things. It is a fact of life. As for English class today, I was very quiet and tried not to speak at all. Of course, I have to after the rest of the class couldn't understand something like "conscripts" in "Rednecks." *Rolling My Eyes* However, I know this damn paper won't matter in 20 years or even in the summer. I'll take a C in English 1102 if I have to. It's OK.

I had a test in CSCI 1060 today. Don't know how I did on the final two problems. They were worth 15 points a piece and I kept confusing myself on the last problem. Before Civ. 1, my professor saw me in the hall and asked me what the paper I was about to turn in was about. I told her it was about Internet communities. She was puzzled but I told her it was an essay concerning the new "gods." After that, she understood. In class, we watched a video. We needed to take notes. The girl next to me that's also in my English class borrowed my notes until Wednesday since she couldn't jot any notes during the video. I'm cool with that.

I almost got a speeding ticket on the way home. I was driving fast (nearly 50 in a 40 zone) and saw a cop on the other side of the road. I slowed down. After I passed him, his lights came on. I could have sworn he was coming for me. I pulled over as soon as I could and waited for him. He never came. *EEK!* After waiting a minute or two for him it would have taken him to reach me, I left and drove through a neighborhood to get back onto another main road. I am not going to feel guilty about it. However, I'm not going to speed a while. People wonder why I'm slow on the road. This is a perfect example.

In other news, here's a blogging article I found at CNN.com: Study: Very few bloggers on Net. I just want to know what exact sample was used. Give us specifics, please. Besides, the data is are is old in the Internet world.

Hey, don't forget, add your birthday to my birthday script on the side bar. *Smile* This memo especially goes out to my friends.

Damn cops.. They just need to leave us alone! LOL I have a heavy foot some times... But mainly on interstate highways. I just "keep up with traffic"... and pass it... LMAO!!

My heavy foot is slow compared to me sister. I was in the car with her last week and she was pushing 60 in a 45 zone! Her excuse is the same as my father's: they are just keeping uo wth traffic.

My mother - 1
My sister - 1
My father - Who knows!

I remember my mother getting her ticket. She was pregnant with Beth and it was a hot day. We had no air in the car and she just wanted to get home. I was with Nicki when she got her ticket. She was going 39 in a 25 zone. She was lucky she was caught right out of a school zone. She claims she didn't have time to slow down but I don't believe it. She had plenty of time to slow down. She ended up paying for it in the end.
