Crappy School Day
February 27, 2004

Well, I knew the straight As wouldn't last forever. *Frown* I got a damn C on my English essay. I was so mad about it my CS professor had to ask me what was the matter next class. She is so sweet. She reminded me I'm going into IT and that literature isn't all that important in IT. Thank Goodness. I got an 84 on my Psych test, pre-extra credit. Hey, at least I still have As in CS and my two histories!

Actually, I came home crying about the C on the essay. That's what I do when I am really upset. I can be an überbitch or cry. Those are my choices and as much as I try to stop myself from getting in those modes, I can't. My English professor said I was waffling in my essay and I needed to be more concise. Oh, she doesn't know how concise I can be. *Evil Laugh* I would scan this essay for my friends to read except I still don't have my scanner back from Nicki! My mother helped calmed me down by telling me to accept a C in that course and be happy I have good grades in all the others. I also kept telling myself this C won't matter in 20 years. It won't matter once I get my diploma. It won't matter in the long run!

I just wish people teaching literature will learn that. I wish they will realize that it's all subjective and each reader has their own cards to bring to a table known as a story! What I get out of "The Hand" will NEVER be the same as anyone else. That's just a part of life. I swear, at times, I think many people that become literature teachers couldn't find anything else they were good at. *Laughing* Hey, what do you expect? *Razzing My Tongue* I'm still a bit bitter about that C.

Not much else for me. I would have posted sooner but the 'Net at home was down most of the day. Of course, it starts working after I tell my brother it was down when he came home. IT started working for him. *Laughing* At least he knows I wasn't lying about it being down since it was down before he left for school this morning. After watching All My Children and sort beads for my mother, I played Mega Man X2 on the SNES. And now, I'm on the computer.
