'Midnight' still shines on Savannah - Believe it or not, I have yet to read The Book. I saw part of The Movie but I didn't like what I saw.

Embattled beauty queen won't be replaced this year - I don't think what the Miss Savannah committee is doing is right. Many girls that like doing the pageant are, in a sense, being punished because the current one went and shot her boyfriend to death. It's not their fault that incident happened.

Updated 8:25 PM 2/4/04 - Work-study job at Hooters criticized - Guyton is a small town north of Savannah. It's about 30 minutes from my place. The Hooters in question is the Savannah Hooters. I have never eaten there.
