Ren And Stimpy came to mind as I read this article: Boone injures knee, could miss '04.
It seems that Aaron Boone's contract with the New York Yankees prohibited him from playing basketball. Because of the injury, the Yankees are now in the hunt for someone to replace Boone and Boone could be released by the Yankees as a result of playing basketball. Boone would loose out on $5.75 million. 
Was it THAT hard to resist playing a game of basketball?
