Today, we got the test papers back from Friday's Civ. I test. The whole weekend was spent stressing and resigning myself to the fact I did poorly on it. The girl that sits in front of me got her test back and she got a C. OK, I was thinking I'm really not going to do well but that's OK, I can make this test up with the final. I got my test paper back and the first thing I saw was "Nice Work!" Excuse me? I opened the test up fully and saw I made an A, a 95. I don't believe it.

In English, we discussed "A & P" by John Updike. We discussed that in the story, tenses change from present to past. I can't remember how I expressed it, but I mentioned that the reason it switches between the two is as "Sammy" is telling the story, not only is he discussing something in the past, he's discussing it as if he's reliving it all over again. It's a very interesting story.

I have to be starting a paper for English soon. It will be due on the 6^th. "A & P" is one of the stories we can write about. As we were discussing it, I could see my old job flash in front of me. In my CSCI 1060 course, we also got back our first assignment. I passed it with flying colors. I'm relieved about that. Tomorrow, I have to turn in a paper for my Hist. 1100 class that I completed yesterday and have a test in Psychology.

Well, that's it for how my schooling is doing. I feel like all I am at the moment is only a student and nothing more. Hey, it will pay off in the future.

The weather here is crappy. We are on the cusp of this weather system pounding the east. We're too warm for snow at the moment but it's pretty dreary outside. It's screaming "Take a nap!"

I'm going to fix a snack now.
