I'm Trying To Do My Part…
January 19, 2004

To honor Dr. Martin Luther King by trying to work on my school work. I'm sure he found education to be very important. However, I really don't want to at the moment. *Laughing* I did read a third of the sections I need to read for my Political History of America/Georgia class for a "paper" I need to turn in on the 27th. I'm not going to fret about the paper at the moment. I can get it done. My professors only wants a paragraph for each question asked. As for the school work I am doing today, it's going to be done sporadically. *Smile* No need for stress. I can do this! I can do this! *Laughing*

Now that we know which teams are going to the Super Bowl, I'm rooting for the Carolina Panthers. It seems it was just yesterday when I lived in the Fayetteville, NC area and the NFL unanimously approved the Carolina franchise in 1993. Panthers gear went like hot cakes. Everyone needed Panthers gear, even though they wouldn't play their first game until 1995. I even got myself a Panthers shirt. *Smile* So with the Patriots defeat the family's Tennessee Titans and my brief time in NC, I'm rooting for the Panthers.

I can't wait to add RAM to this computer. It will be done at least in time for next semester. *Laughing* I found another radio station, besides Q 100 out of Atlanta, that broadcasts over the Internet. It's Star 98.7 out of Los Angeles, CA. Actually, it's closer to type of music I like more than Q 100 is. *Smile* Shame I can't play it on my computer as is at the moment.

My father is enjoying the idea of Internet radio, too. He found an Internet-only oldies station and found the Neal Boortz feed. We moved the Gateway out in the dining room temporally and he'll listen to the oldies while washing dishes. This morning, he kidded me about showing him the evils of the Internet - Internet radio. *Laughing* I think he likes the idea.

All My Children is about to come on. I haven't watched it in a while. Today's episode looked interesting Friday.

Not sure who I'm rooting for yet. Might be the Patriots. My high school mascot was the Patriot so... And well with being Military anything "Patriotic" usually gets my vote... Just don't tell my friend Mel on xanga... She's a huge Panther fan! LOL

Now, are we really watching for the foorball or the commercials?

Little bit of both... But since I really don't have a big preference about the teams... I'll watch the game for good plays.. but the commercials make it all worth while!!

I hope they have some good ones this year.
