The Tupac Story.
January 17, 2004

This entry is for Trish. *Laughing*

Back in my senior year of high school, all the students had to partake in an emergency bus drill, in case we ever had to ride a bus and something happens to us while on it. They scheduled the bus drill for second period, which happened to be history class. *Oh Yeah!* Actually, he's a minor character in this story. *EEK!* In fact, for the first drill, they made my small history class bunch up together on this bus so other classes could squeeze on the bus. He ended up sitting next to me. *Oh Yeah!* However, I don't remember this episode of high school life because I sat next to him.

While my class was waiting for the rest of the classes to get to the bus and sit down, we all took seats on the bus by ourselves. Why not, we were the "big men" on campus. *Laughing* My classmate, Gary, starts reading the back in front of his bus seat. Someone had written on it "Tupac spelled backwards is caput." My whole class started laughing at this statement. Some classmates didn't believe it and went over to Gary's seat to see this statement. *Laughing* I think the things that interested us the most were how did this saying get on the seat and more importantly, how did it manage to survive.

The rest of that school day and once in a while, "Tupac spelled backwards is caput" pops into my head. It's sad Tupac is gone but that high school story brings me a sweet chuckle. *Smile*
