I'm having some baseball withdrawls. I've been doing well since the World Series focusing on other things but now it's getting boring without something to entertain me. I'm surfing MLB.com and watching the free highlight clips.
The local high school band is practicing for the MLK parade this Monday. They are walking by house at this moment.
They use the street I live on for marching practice. I see the flag squard at the moment. Now they are moving again.

i've been suffering baseball withdrawl for years now - i used to play it back in my school days, but being the UK, its not a very popular sport
I miss football already and it's not even over! Of course, it is for me since the Packers are out but at least there are games to watch. I'm not even that interested. Going to a Superbowl party though! Should be fun!

I've heard quite a bit about how popular soccer is in the rest of the world and all the crazy antics people do over the sport. As for baseball, MLB is trying to spread it to Europe now. Hopefully they'll succeed.
Trish, you know as soon as you watch these final three games, you'll get into it all.
Who are you rooting for? I'm rooting for the Panthers.
