Bryant defense claims accuser is bi-polar, requests medical history.

I wake up to read this and it just angers me. It's very insulting to bi-polar people. It's as if his defenders are equating all people suffering from bi-polar disorder as evil schemers just trying to get attention. Sure, maybe some of us feel so depressed that we feel suicide is the only way out. But when we feel that way, we feel depressed and alone. Her suicide attempt may not have been a case to get sympathy from her ex-boyfriend, as they claim. Why can't she feel depressed and feel as her world was ending?

Many that suffer from bi-polar are sane, they just happen to have extreme mood swings. We can soar above the clouds; we can drop to the darkest depths. I doubt these defenders could even imagine what it's like to be bi-polar.

And why would ANYONE want to accuse someone of rape that's in the stature of Kobe? I doubt this girl is really getting the attention his lawyers are claiming she's trying to get. No one would want that attention.

I'm not going to claim that he's guilty, however. I just think his defense team's tactic is nasty and attacking all that suffer from bi-polar disorder. All those that suffer from bi-polar disorder, watch out. You're not citizens anymore. You're just a crazy person seeking attention.
