EXCUSE ME for wanting to post the Friday Five and the news articles I enjoyed in two different entries! 
I just thought that would make things easier for reading and for commenting but you seem think by me doing that, I need to "take a break" and I guess enjoy life.
I will no longer ping you if that's how you are going to word your "one ping per 30 minutes" notice. I don't need to be treated like that! In the words of "Stephanie Tanner," I exclaim: "HOW RUDE!"
So, probably no more posting from me today. I have to go get a life like Weblogs.com wants me to.

Yeah, I kind of thought that was rude too. When I used to ping Weblogs.com manually, sometimes I would accidentally hit the submit button twice and that message would pop up.
Sometimes I would like to imagine that I have more of a life than the guy who coded the thing.

I had quit pinging Weblogs.com for a while because it would time out all the time and I was sick of that clogging my activity log. I decided just the other day to ping it again and I get that notice.
I'll just ping Blogrolling.com and Blo.gs for now. At least they haven't been rude to me in their error messages.
Sya, that's exactly what I was thinking! Who has more of a life? Me for actually blogging something entertaining or someone that has to write something insulting (which I found and I know others have found, too!) to insult the people that actually use the service? Without blogs, Weblogs.com in its current mode would not be popular.
Actually, I wouldn't be so upset if it was written something like "Weblogs.com permits only one ping per blog per thirty minutes due to the heavy load of blogs pinging. Thank you for understanding." Nice and simple and tells the truth. Oh no, not that message I posted. If you are going to treat the people that use your service like they have no life, I don't need that. I won't use Weblogs.com. Weblogs.com can keep their attitude!
I do have to say, I found some people thing it's funny. It's not. It's insulting. Too bad they can't see that. 
That is rude! Ah, Stephanie Tanner... I love that show!
