Family Urges Public To Help Find Their Missing Daughter & Missing Teen's Family Makes Appeal.
All the news stations in town keep refering to it as Timberlane Park or Timberline Park, near Jenkins High School. The correct name of the park is Forest Hills Park. The park is off Timberline Dr. but that's not the name of the park nor the neighboorhood it resides in. In fact, there is a big ole sign that says "FOREST HILLS" at the edge of the park on Skidaway Rd. ![]()
I hope they do find this girl. It is frightening if she was abducted, more than many of you could guess. And if you do know why, well, I'm sure you understand. However, my gut says she's probably just a runaway. I wouldn't be surprised.

I hope they find her too. Would be hell on both parents and "child" if she was abducted so close to Christmas and not found. If she's a run away, I hope she comes to her senses and realizes the hurt she's causing by running like that. And I think I have a fairly good idea why it would be more frightening to you... Isn't that close to where you sister goes to school?
Posted by: Dragon at December 10, 2003 6:07 PMNot only is it the school I attended and my sister attends now, but this park is that neighborhood park I speak about from time to time.
Posted by: Shawn at December 10, 2003 6:21 PMI thought so. That would be scary. I'll just keep hoping for the best.
Posted by: Dragon at December 10, 2003 6:23 PMCarp, did she get abducted IN the park? That's scary, never go outside the house again, you, matthew or beth, got me?!?
Posted by: Nicki at December 11, 2003 12:15 PMShe was last seen heading to the park. No mention of the neighborhood she's from. No reports of her being at the park. Any business she could have done at the park was probably at that poor excuse they call a slide. The basketball court and picnic talbes are gone.
Maybe she claimed she was going to the park but went to one of those low-rent apartments over off LaRoche?
