I'm at the school. My mother and I came to the school to talk to a financial aid counselor. Actually, we came Monday. Why did it take bringing my mother to school to get an appointment? I am an adult and I was trying to take care of it on my own. Everytime I asked the front financial aid office staff a question or to see a counselor, I was told I was fine. However, my family was getting antsy as to when I'd ever get a loan. So finally, my mother has to come and we FINALLY get answers. However, it's taken care and everything for now. ![]()
Well, since my mother brought me and she has an event out here tonight, I'm going to be on this campus all day. ![]()
So, I am going to blab while I can. ![]()
Someone posted a link to a website in my Blogrolling fiasco entry. It was a link I DO NO approve of. This is not a hate site and I do not stand for hateful links being posted here. I deleted the entry ASAP. Seems the hate we're discussing about while studying about Germany before and during World War II still lives to this day.
I found an old layout picture from my computer and made a skin for it. I'm going to try to post it today. I hope you like it. ![]()
Also, today is my baby sister's 16th birthday. Now I feel old. Seems at times it was only yesterday when I was 9-years-old. Actually, I was 8 when she was born but I might as well be 9 years older than her.
Anything else? Well, not at the moment. I could update my blogroll to add new links but I'm afraid to touch it. Really, I am.
I'll update this entry if/when I get the new skin up. ![]()
Updated 11/20/03 2:02 PM The new skin, based on an old layout is up. Go see what the Sunflower skin looks like. ![]()

Yeah, it is sort of scary when you realizes how old your own siblings are. It puts things in perspective.
Posted by: sya at November 20, 2003 6:54 PMDon't feel bad. Nov 19th was my oldest sister's birthday. She is 10 years and like 1 1/2 months older then me... She turned 38... My sister is getting old! She'll be 40 in 2 years! Which means... I'll be 30 in 2 years!! Oye.

*dusts cobwebs off Shawn's blog*
It's been SO long! Could you have taken a longer blogging break?
hee hee
That's why I have no siblings...I have no way to put my age into perspective
Sorry about those people being mean to you....that is ridiculous, afterall, it was a mistake. People need to lighten up. I'm glad I'm not part of that blogrolling stuff, I'd be afraid to mess something up after the fiasco you expierenced.
Posted by: Chewie at November 21, 2003 2:53 PMMean people bad. Shawn good. Elder God use mean people as ping-pong balls until Shawn laugh.
Please do not remind me of age. I have too many years behind me.
Posted by: Michael at November 21, 2003 3:34 PMMichael... it's not the years you have behind you... It's the ones you have yet to look forward to. :-)
