I can't believe there was an actual traffic jam into downtown in rush hour! I'm used to traffic jams downtown in Atlanta and I'm used to traffic jams on Abercorn but never Savannah's downtown. The police also had routes onto River St. blocked for some reason I don't know about.

My computer at home is having a mid-life crisis and I can't help it. My sister's roommate said he'd look over it and get it back to normal. I can't even get it to read my restore disk correctly. It's suck in safe mode. I'm not going to be too worried over it. The only things I'll really be losing on that computer might be a few fonts I installed after the last restore. I was able to burn and transfer to our Gateway the stuff I want to keep. Until it's fixed, I just won't be on as much.

I watched the Red Sox/Yankees and Marlins/Cubs game. I watched the AL game more since the NL game became a blowout. I was quite happy to see Game One go to the Sox. However, patrons of Yankee Stadium need to learn to keep their fans out of the field of play! Some retard reached up at the foul pole when Todd Walker's ball was about to hit the foul pole for a home run. And let's not forget the founder of the Yankee fans' policy of interfering with a ball in play, Jeffery Maier. I think Baltimore and Atlanta fans are still wondering "What if?" on that call.

As for NL action, The Marlins are a good team. I watched nearly all 19 games they played against the Braves this year. They may fall to the Cubs but they are going to give the Cubs a good fight. If the Marlins survived the 25-9 blowout earlier this summer with the Red Sox, they can survive last night's game. However, I just have a feeling that destiny is calling for a Cubs/Red Sox World Series. Yet, if that happens, the world is going to end for many people. One team has to win it, won't they? The fans of one team will be slap damn happy. But, then what will they do next?
