Happy 18th Birthday, Matthew!
My "baby" brother is now an adult today. Seems it was just yesterday he was singing the theme to The Mysterious Cities of Gold and "Walk Like An Egyptian" and wishing he too was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle or a Power Ranger.

Happy birthday Matthew.
Wait a minute I still sing "Walk Like an Egyptian" and I still want to be a Nija Turtle.

Don't worry. He still likes "Walk Like An Egyptian" and those Ninja Turtles.
Walk Like an Egyptian is a classic.
I remember the Turtles....my mom is an artist and made me write an essay about each of the artists that the turtles were named after just so I could see the movie. Try to avoid living with an artist if you can ;o)
Happy Birthday, Matthew!

Now and Forever,
Liz
My sister & I watch the show as young kids. I bet if you showed him a screen shot, he couldn't identify it. But, I still remember him trying to sing the theme.
In 6th grade, we had to know the names of some Renaissance painters. My teacher rolled her eyes at the fact "we" only knew of them from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However, she expected all of us to get a perfect score on the test section naming Renaissance painters.
I can remember seeing the movie on the day it opened. My brother was a fan since he was 2 years old. His 3rd birthday, he cried because he didn't get a Turtle toy. My mother had no clue until that day he was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan. Ever since that day in 1988, TMNT was a big thing in my house.
