On Target - Savannah is finally getting a Target! You bet I'm excitied. No more going to Bluffton, SC to shop at one.
Also, $200 million retail center coming to Pooler. Pooler is booming. Seems companies looking to build more plants and offices in the States are moving to Coastal Empire Georgia because of the access to Interstates I-16 and I-95, the railroad system we already have, and our ports.
Hopefully this area will be improving for the better. Now, if we can work on the school system, local roads and traffic, build a better civic center, and keep the southern charm while dropping the snotty attitudes many have here, this area will still improve.

Posted by: Stacey at September 21, 2003 12:51 AMI know it's silly to be excited over one but once you've tasted the store, Wal-Mart and K-Mart just aren't the same. Plus, those CD specials you can get at Target, never had a chance to get them until recently.
