Two Hours At Scho
August 14, 2003

I spent two hours at school at the financial aid office, getting ready for next semester. *Sigh* I spent about 20 minutes, if that many, with a financial aid counselor. *Laughing* My paperwork is now squared away.

I heard all about the power outage up north on my way home from school. So, at this moment, I'm enjoying my A/C. Actually, I was wanting to enjoy it before I heard of the news.

The biggest news of today is my family adopted a new kitten, today. He's about 4 weeks old and orange. My mother wanted an orange cat. He's not a pale orange cat. He's a dark orange, almost red, cat. We still haven't decided on a name but Matthew and I like "Encore" for a name. He won't replace our dear Pumpkin (hence the encore production of an orange cat in our home. *Laughing*) nor will he replace Christopher but he's a sweet heart. Matthew arranged getting the cat. A friend of his at school found the kitten in her neighborhood and Matthew remembered the want of an orange cat in the family. *Smile*

Finally, I must say I love the new John Mayer single, "Bigger Than My Body" from the few times I've heard it on the radio. *Smile*

Ahhh! A new kitten. I almost want another one... that is until my cats start looking at me like I 'm an idiot.

Kittens are cute. As for the other cats, our kitty, C.C., did see it and he started to get jealous. I made sure I gave him some love.

Any baby animal is cute! But kittens and puppies are some of the cutest, for sure. Congrats on the new kitten!

Thanks. At the moment, we're now calling him Scooter. My father has spent the most time with him, so we figured he'd find the right name.
