Stop The Dream In
August 10, 2003

Laura was in this dream from last night. We were traveling from Savannah to some small town in Southwestern Georgia for her to get married. She didn't want to be alone, so I traveled with her.

We didn't travel by car but by bus. *EEK!* And it was a long bus trip! *Crying* *Laughing*

Halfway on our trip, we stopped in some small Georgia town. I can't remember the name but this town much have been inspired from stops in Hinesville, Jesup, Waycross, and Valdosta. A bunch of other brides in dresses got on the bus at this stop.

One bride asked Laura to hold her slip. It seems the brides were ordered off the bus to get out of those dresses and into a suit. The bus driver wasn't going to have 5 or 6 girls in wedding attire block his vision. Somehow, I ended up with the slip and accidentally held it against the wall of the bus. Some idiot spilled a Coke on the wall and it was all over the slip. I felt bad but someone told me not to. It wasn't my fault I ended up with the slip, nor was it Laura's. What did the bride expect going on a bus in full wedding attire? *Sigh*

Someone else told me during the ride that our destination was the Las Vegas for rural Georgia girls. One thing Laura and I are not, rural Georgia girls. However, Laura's groom-to-be, whose name I never caught but wasn't nor based on someone from real life, wanted her to meet him there.

We stop in Jablobee, Georgia (I doubt that town exists!) around 6:30 PM. Laura and I were tired and hungry. The Jablobee bus station attendant tells us that the bus won't reach our destination until 10:30. Laura called her guy but she couldn't reach him at all. She figured he blew her off and wasn't even in the town. He could be shady like that.

Now we're panicking because we're stuck in Jablobee and don't want to continue on to this other town. We just want to go home! So, the attendant tells us we can get our roundtrip tickets exchanged to go back to Savannah and get some money back in the process, too. The only thing is it claims the ticket was change because the ticket holder is about to declare bankruptcy. I wanted to go home but didn't want to do that. After figuring that was the only way to get home, I agreed.

The last thing I recalled in this dream is after getting the ticket, we had to line up and wait under an awning in the rain waiting for the next bus back to Savannah. I just know by this time, I hated Jablobee and was never going to go on a trip to met up with this bum again! *Laughing*

I don't know why they are vivid.
