I'm A Victim Of M
July 25, 2003

Really, I am. At the moment, I'm on my mother's computer since we fear my A/C unit caused my back to hurt like hell last night. My back was stiff when I went to bed and I thought it would fade while I slept. No, I was still in pain when my mother wanted me to see about sending some e-mail for her. I told her what to do and explained I couldn't move without pain. I'm still in pain a bit but I have some Motrin in my system to stop it. My back is much better that it was when I woke up.

We think the A/C unit caused the pain. The A/C unit is across my room from my computer. My room is so small, that's the only place for the computer. Usually, I turn my air down while on the computer but last night, my mother was in my room on the spare mattress so she could enjoy the cold air.

Thanks. Unfortunately, my sister Beth can't understand that my back hurts and is crying over pressing the "Power" button on my computer when she's trying to use the "Print Screen" button. Hence, I'm back in my room with the air down. Some people can't learn to compromise!

Have you tried putting a heating pad on it or taking a nice hot bath? I get that alot when I am in a draft or under the AC. Usually it's my knees or hands because of my arthritis though. But when you sit like that for too long with a cold draft on you it'll make your muscles cramp and knot up like that. Best advice, get them warm!! Warm bath is the best cause it works faster and covers more area then a heating pad and moist heat is better for muscle aches then dry...

I have no clue were the heating pad is at. The air is now off in my room so I can function without pain.
