I'm Killing Time
January 14, 2003

I have a quiz in class today. I'm not worried about it. After all, I did study Chapter 2 last semester.

Today, I went shopping a bit. Nothing much. Just an outfit for the gym. My mother belongs to a gym and said I can use her membership. She doesn't use it. I need an excuse to get out of the house. *Smile* So, I plan on going to the gym, tomorrow. I'm starting to get depressed. They say exercise helps fight depression. Besides, it will do me some good.

I still think 2003 is going to be a great year.

This-or-That Tuesday only this Tuesday. I'm not in the mood to tackle the Tuesday Too this week.

When I get my own place… *Laughing*
1. Window shades or blinds? Shades. We had them in our quarters on Ft. Bragg. I loved those things.

2. Wall or desk calendar? Wall calendar. Actually, I like them both, but at the moment, I have a Braves 2003 wall calendar.

3. Paint or wallpaper? It depends on the theme you're trying to place in the room.

4. Electric or gas stove? Electric!

5. Carpeting or bare floors? Again, it depends on the theme you're trying to place in the room.

6. One TV, or more than one? More than on TV! That way my future husband and kids can watch what they want to watch while I'm watching baseball. I *Love* *Play Ball!* *Laughing*

7. Leather or fabric sofa? Leather's all nice except when you sweat and have felines. Fabric it will be.

8. Eat meals in kitchen or dining room? Both. It will depend on my mood. *Laughing*

9. Fabric or vinyl shower curtain? Vinyl, probably. Or whatever the pattern I likes comes in.

10. Your kitchen: well-equipped or bare bones? Hopefully well-equipped. *Smile*

Actually due to the fact that we have felines I prefer leather furnature. That way the hair doesn't stick to it and you don't end up with a fuzzy butt every time you get up.

Well in our case, ours would tear it up!

That's why 2 out of 4 are declawed and as soon as I can the baby will be getting hers ripped out too. Princess probably won't. She doesn't do much with them anyway. She's too much of a priss to bring out her claws. LOL

None of our cats are declawed. To a cat, it's like removing the first knuckles our hands. Pumpkin was declawed in the front. Our late Sweet Pea was declawed but her personality was never the same.

Ours are just declawed in the front. I know it's not "nice" but either is having my hands tore up from playing or my expensive leather furnature being ripped up either. Hasn't really effected our cats too much. They were young when we had it done.

Sweet Pea was younger when we did it to her but she never really did recover. Had she had claws, she could be alive today. She was outside, in our own yard, when a mystery dog appeared out of nowhere & killed her. After Sweet Pea, it changed my mother's view about claws.

However, Pikachu last night made me wish she was declawed. She likes to attack moving objects under blankets. She got my thumb last night and her claw poked into it. My thumb hurts now!
