What can I say about it? I don't approve of it at the same time, I have some understanding why we must do it. Part of me wishes we did the job correctly the first damn time we were over in the Middle East. You know, that conflict called Desert Shield/Desert Storm. That conflict that made sure my father was in Saudi Arabia for 7½ months.
But now, as I posted in Trish's blog, "If Bush didn't have a personal vendetta against Saddam, most of this 
wouldn't be happening. But no, since Saddam tried to kill Daddy Bush 12 years ago, we the public are forced to do this."
My friend Travis, Trish's husband, has been shipped out for build up for this war. Now I hear, my cousin Michael (who just got home from serving in Pakistan), is being called back to active duty to serve in this upcoming war.

I really don't know what to think about all of this. I think it is totally unfair that Michael has to leave. He has only been home for almost 3 weeks! Now he is leaving again, and don't know for how long this time. I just think it sucks. I know how your mom felt when Uncle Steve was gone. It is very lonely. At least I have 3 children to keep me busy!

It frustrates me to no end that we have to defend Bush's "honor".
It sickens me to think that our men and women are going over there and may not come home for a long time.
And it worries me to watch friends and loved ones be separated from each other. I'm afraid to go into work tomorrow to have my best friend @ work come in and tell us that her husband (who is in the reserves) is being called into active duty.
I don't even want to think about this anymore...

Well..As far as the "war on terrorism" goes, I think it is all a bunch of ....Being from a military town, such as Jacksonville, I know what this war is doing to families....It is just plain horrible!! This past week, 7 people I know have been deployed to Kuwait, Afghanistan, etc....What is this world coming too?? You know? And Shawn, I just want you to know, that I have been reading your writings, and I find them highly inspirational..Don't worry girl, Mr. Right is out there....Just you wait and see..
Well, nearby Hinesville might be a ghost town thanks to all of the 3rd ID being shipped overseas.
