Laura has moved. She left Xanga after her boyfriend set her up a site. She uses Greymatter now. She's still working on it but I'm sure she'll love it if you left her a comment that didn't require you to sign up for a service. 
I hope everyone is having a nice 4th of July. Nicki has to work today but once she's off, we're going to have a cook out. So far, I've spent my 4th moving the front lawn until the heat got to me.
I can't believe One Live To Live is making "Marcie" feel bad about her weight. Finally a story where the girl that's a normal size gets a good looking guy that's mad about her and now they are making her feel bad about her weight. Oh, that plot is going to backfire! I hope the writers make it work. At the moment, I'm not liking it.

did you read the OLTL board at mediadomain? brian frons, one of the higherups pretty much said kathy brier(marcie) was fat and ugly.(not in those exact words but still.)
according to her, she's a size 10, and you know the camera adds weight.
i hate OLTL now.

That is so not necessary and bad for the children that see these shows. No wonder eating disorders are so prevalent in our culture today.

Kathy Brier may be big but that doesn't mean she's ugly! "Marcie" is the only pure human character on that show. All the others are so fake.

I don't know why size -12 is in. It's a shame that women of a certain size that was once deemed beautiful are now made to feel like crap.

It's such a shame ABC is out to RUIN their soaps. When I was young, ABC soaps were the top dog. Now, they are pure crap! Some storylines are good but to do what they keep doing is sick! Oh, I'm sure you loved

Chewie, I haven't watched AMC in a bit other than to know that "Jack Montgomery" has a biological daughter in "Greenlee Smyth du Pres." "Jack" and "Ercia" are together AGAIN and "Erica" is not happy knowing her enemy at the moment, "Greenlee," will be her step-daughter when she finally marries "Jack."
MediaDomain.com is a good site to read about all the soaps. Each soap has their own board (Well, not Port Charles).

I grew up with GL, AW, and DOL, my roomate's watched GH and Y&TR along with B&B. I thought GH wasn't too bad, and B&B simply made me laugh. Most soaps are comical, but they do tend to go a bit far from time to time. I've never, to my knowledge, even seen an ABC soap.

i used to totally love ABC soaps, i started watching AMC when sarah michelle gellar was kendall, then i slowly moved to OLTL and GH. i'm just so sad at the state of these shows.

A lot of old ABC faithfuls have started watching CBS soaps since CBS has snagged many of the well known ABC soap actors.

I think this comment about Kath Brier on OLTL was wrong Big women are beautiful I was cheering the day her and Al got together. 
I've liked "Marcie" since I first saw her, even if she wasn only "Jen's" slave. Kathy Brier is great! I've liked all I have seen of the "Marcie"/"Al" pairing.
