It seems of that JF, the brains behind the Tuesday Too, is missing. In lieu of the Tuesday Too, Sya has been answering the questions fellow Tuesday Too fan, Taco Shop Psychic, has been asking as a way to fill the Tuesday Too void.
I guess I'll answer the questions, too. ![]()
1. Why do you do these memes? Why do you think people in general do them? I do these memes because at first, they were fun. And then I felt like I had to do it as a favor to the people that run the meme. And, there are a few that are fun. But, I have gotten annoyed when the memes ask the same question in the same week.
I can't tell you the real reasons why each blogger does a meme. Maybe they do them for the same reasons I do. Maybe others do it just so they can have blog content.
2. Do you read the responses of other people when they meme? If I'm on their blog already, yes, I'll read the answers. I don't normally go through the comment list of people voicing that the did the meme to read other answers.
However, when I'm looking for a new read, I'll go through the "I'm up!" memes lists to try to find a new one.
3. What memes do you try to always do, and conversely which do you avoid, and why? "Friday Five" was the first one. Then I started the "Monday Mission" and "Tuesday Too." Eventually, it was like I was a meme addict. Not anymore. Some memes faded away. I only do memes Monday-Friday and the ones I do are "Monday Mission," "Participation Positives," "This-Or-That Tuesday," "Tuesday Too," "HumpDay Hump," "Thursday Threesome," and "Friday Five." I try not to get caught up in doing anything more unless it is a one time meme.

Posted by: misbah kyrene at June 11, 2003 6:10 PMTell him that had he not messed around on the computer to "clean it up" in the first place, you wouldn't be such a nag!
Men are never going to learn the secret to stop the nagging.
Here's part of the secret, men: IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!
