Summer Time
April 30, 2003

Come tomorrow, after my final exam, it will be summer for me. *Sigh* Yes, instead of being unemployed but having 3 hours of week devoted to pre-calculus math, I will be unemployed. *Frown*

Depressing, isn't it? All of life is depressing. So why do I still go on?

I was crying about it to my mother a bit today.

Hopefully, I'll get to take the two courses I signed up for in the fall. Lord knows I don't have any financial aid other than my parents.

Tonight is Free Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins. I might go just to get out of this house. I could use some cookies & cream. Oh, I'll need to go to the school, too. The book buy back is ongoing at the moment and I could use a few bucks if I can sell my math book.

i meant to add, "not that it matters since i can't have any" but somehow that last part got eaten up

oh and we now have cable(instead of the Dish) which means I can watch my Two Guys and a Girl syndicated reruns without seeing the "Acquiring Satellite Signal" screen every minute!

Don't tell me, you had a big satellite dish and not a mini-dish! We had a big dish but it's not hooked up nor do we have programing for it.

And your last comment was eaten because MT read the <-- and parsed it as a HTML comment. <!----> is an HTML comment that's placed in an HTML file but isn't displayed on screen.

Free scoop night... Ice cream... hmmm

Try and look at the no school, just no work thing like this... Now you will have more time to do some actual job hunting and all and will also have your evenings free for.... BASEBALL!! Ok so it's not much but I really couldn't think of much else. Only thing I am looking forward to when Adrianna is out of school for summer is #1. No more getting up at 7am and having that morning rush/frustration trying to get her lazy procrastinating butt moving in the mornings and having to yell every damn morning for her to stop playing with her clothes and just get dressed! That and when she gets out (mid June), means that Travis will be home soon hopefully.

I hope I can find a job but I'm not banking on it.

Surely there has to be SOMETHING out there.. Anything!! OR have you narrowed it down to just one certain field? I guess it all depends on "despiration". If you were despirate enough you could settle for McDonalds... Personally.. I would rather be drug through the street naked then work fast food ever again!!

hell, it's FREE SCOOP NIGHT! B-R is on my way to the gym anyway so it won't hurt me to stop there for a free scoop. can't even remember the last time i had ice cream!

and yes, we have that big-a** Dish 500 thing...all the channels you could want. except the idiots who installed it didn't put it on the roof where it's supposed to go. instead they put it where a tree was in the way of the satellite--or something like that. so whenever there was the slightest bit of wind, we'd see "Acquiring Satellite Signal--Please Wait" every few minutes!!

now we have ComCast cable. so far, i'm happy with it. i can watch Two Guys and a Girl and not shout out obscenities every other minute! Nathan Fillion's smile is just gorgeous and I hate missing a moment!!

Yea! On the cable.

My family doesn't want me to work at McDonald's. I don't blame them. I won't do sales because I'm not the type to pressure people. And I hate the phone. So in the scheme of things, there's very few I can do at the moment.

I miss Baskin Robbins. They went out of business here.

That's no good. Most of the BR's in town closed and became The Ice Cream Club shops.
