I think the mowing the back lawn today took it out of me. Sun exposure does that to me.
Ex-Atlanta Braves pitcher Kevin Millwood had a no-hitter today for the Philadelphia Phillies.
I'm frowing because he was a Brave. I'm smiling because he's a good pitcher. At the end of the Braves game, TBS aired the final inning of the Phillies game so those viewers could watch the feat.
It seems the Arizona Diamondbacks & the New York Mets played two games in the time it's taken the St. Louis Cardinals and the Florida Marlins to play one game. St. Louis scored in the 20th at last check.
Not much else with me. I think I might just pass out for the rest of the day, soon.

Posted by: misbah kyrene f. at April 27, 2003 9:45 PMI hope you're feeling better today Shawn...
And watching Millwood yesterday was a treat, it would have been even better had hubby and I gone down there to see it happen in person.
One sweet victory people here in Philly will remember for a long time.
Posted by: Tammtamm at April 28, 2003 11:25 AMI probably would have left that game before 20 innings. I believe I should stay until the end but 20 was TOO much.
Would you have want to work the 5OT Ducks/Stars game?
I feel better after getting some sleep.
Maybe my server was down at the time for weekly maintainance?
Oh, I'm sure the people of Atlanta will remember Millwood's no hitter for a long time, too.
Posted by: Shawn at April 28, 2003 3:00 PMyes and no. yes, because hey...overtime pay! that's time and half.
no, because...it's 5 OT!! 3OT was bad enough!
Actually, it was 4OTs, 4OT intermissions, and about a minute of the 5th OT.
