Hutchinson Island is an island in town that's in the middle of the Savannah River, across from River Street and downtown. Half of it's developed into a resort location. The other half is still undeveloped.
On the east side of the island, there is a fancy PGA golf event occuring that's on the air on ESPN at this moment.
On the west side of the island, there is a search for a missing little girl they believe is a victim of foul play.
Such extremes, are they not?

Funny how things work that way huh? Reminds me of San Fran... One place is all nice $$$ houses and then just down the road, 20 minutes walking distance you have nasty bums coming into McDonalds asking for money while your trying to eat.
