According to our local NBC station, WSAV, police are suspecting foul play in Ashleigh's disapperance. 
The system failed her. Levi's Call was not issued in her case because her case didn't fit the guideline of a missing child in order to issue one. 
I won't acuse her mother's boyfriend yet, but if he did do it, then the law let that child down again. In the state of Georgia, first time first time sexual offenders do not have to register under's Megan's Law. 
They have here in Georgia the First Offender Act. The First Offender Act was the reason the boyfriend was not required to register as a sexual offender.
Nice to know my state cares so much about its children. After all, a stupid flag seems to be more important than the children.
As for Levi's Call, my mother e-mailed the TV station to ask about it. The news director said he would look into it.
I'm going to keep an eye on this story and let you know if they find anything about Ashleigh. Keep her in your prayers.

geez.. This story just keeps getting deeper and deeper... UGH!! Remind me never to move to GA with my child!!
I'm still watching this case. It's making me sick. I want to cry over this. It's just sad. And if it can happen to this Ashleigh, it could happen to ANY CHILD in the state of Georgia. There's not much protection for them or Ashleigh, in this case.

I ended up having to live next door to the bastard who hurt me for 18 years because no one did anything. And once I was old enough to want him arrested, well then there's the statute of limitations. I quote "90210", "Justice isn't blind, it's deaf and dumb as well."
